The Springfield Free Public Library is offering entry inside the library building to Springfield residents ages 18 and older for use of the public Internet computers. Beginning Monday, November 23rd, library patrons may sign up for 60-minute time slots but need to be aware that, due to social distancing requirements, library staff members will not be available to provide desk side assistance.
All people entering the library will be required to wear a mask that covers their mouth and nostrils at all times that they are inside the building; temperatures will be taken upon entering the library and anyone registering a temperature of 99.5 F or higher will be instructed to leave.
Likewise, anyone exhibiting known symptoms of COVID-19 will not be given admittance to the library building. Library patrons will not have access to library restrooms, public photocopier, fax machine, or public computer printer. Patrons wishing to save documents to have printed elsewhere must provide their own flash drives.
