LMxAC Trading Cards

Springfield Library Encourages Patrons to Collect Library Trading Cards!

As a proud member of LMxAC (Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium), the Springfield Free Public Library is participating in the consortium's library trading card summer challenge.

Library patrons are invited to collect a library trading card from each of the 32 member libraries. The only way to collect a library's unique trading card is to visit that library. Upon collecting all 32 cards, you will need to have your collection certified by a member of the library staff at any one of the member libraries. Upon certification, you will be entered into a drawing, with the grand prize being an Apple iPad (WiFi, 32GB). Five runners up will also be chosen to receive a $25.00 Barnes & Nobles gift card. Participants have through August 30 to present a completed card set for certification. The trading card for the Springfield Free Public Library is available at the library's circulation desk. You do not need to commit to visiting all 32 libraries to ask for a card from any of the participating libraries, but you must do so in person.
