Based on the novella, “Lady Susan” by Jane Austen. Lady Susan Vernon takes up temporary residence at her in-laws’ estate and, while there, is determined to be a matchmaker for her daughter, the somewhat reluctant and awkward Frederica. She also decides it’s time to secure a husband for herself. Directed by Whit Stillman. Starring Kate Beckinsale, Chloe Sevigny, Xavier Samuel and Emma Greenwell.
