The Church and Cannon Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution invites you to join them for the commemoration observing the 248th anniversary of the Battle of Springfield on June 14, 2018.

The Commemoration Ceremony and wreath laying will take place at 7:00 PM at the DAR Cemetery, located at 39 Mountain Avenue (across the street from the municipal parking lot.)

Immediately following the wreath laying, the gathering will move across the street to the Donald B. Palmer Museum of the Springfield Free Public Library (66 Mountain Avenue) for a special presentation about the Battle of Springfield, Connecticut Farms & Elizabeth (June 6 to June 23, 1780), by John Kieser and David Siegfried.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM in the Palmer Museum.
