The Springfield Free Public Library is pleased to welcome back singer & songwriter Marc Berger in a performance of music inspired by the American West to be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 4.

“Ride,” a collection of ten songs inspired by Berger’s travels to obscure Western locales and which connect the myths of the American West to contemporary culture, will be featured at this performance.

Berger’s extensive experience as a performer includes performances at such New York City clubs as The Knitting Factory, CBGB and Wetlands as well as at Austin’s South by Southwest Music Festival and the Kerryville Folk Festival. He has opened for Bob Dylan and other national acts and his song “The Last One” was regularly performed in concert by Richie Havens.
