In our efforts to bring you the best library service possible, the library has joined the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium (LMxAC). During the transition, we will be unable to accept any holds between May 15 and May 31. Please note that holds placed directly by patrons during that time will also be lost. We are sorry for this inconvenience and look forward to coming back better than ever on June 1.

We are pleased to announce that the firewall for the library's computer network will be undergoing a major upgrade on Wednesday, May 31. Unfortunately, this will require the shutting down of our Internet network for a period of approximately two hours, most likely to occur between 1:00 and 3:00 PM. It is possible that subsequent sporadic outages may occur up until about 5:00 PM that afternoon. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

From May 26th - 31st, as we transition into our new system, we will continue to be able to check out library materials but will not be able to perform any other functions, including item check in, processing of payments; updating existing library cards, registering new patrons, or looking up anyone’s account. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR LIBRARY CARD with you as we will need the barcode number on your card to be able to check anything out to you on these two dates.

Music Concert: Nicolas Carter
Sunday, April 23, 2017, 02:00pm

Harpist Nicolas Carter will perform a program of harp music, interwoven with storytelling, at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 23. Carter’s original compositions are inspired by his observations of nature and everyday life and Carter’s dual American and Paraguayan heritage provides him with a unique perspective. Carter has recorded more than a dozen albums and has performed as a soloist and with various ensembles in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Israel. He currently resides in Uruguay and travels often as a concert performer and master teacher at various harp festivals.

This program is free and open to all members of the general public. More information about Nicolas Carter can be found at www.nicholascarter.com.
