The Fall International Film Festival begins at the Springfield Free Public Library on Thursday, October 18. The library will screen 13 Minutes (2015) at 1:00 and 6:45 p.m.
In November 1939, Georg Elser’s attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler fails, and he is arrested. During his confinement, he recalls the events leading up to his plot and his reasons for deciding to take such drastic action. Directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel. Starring Christian Friedel, Katharina Schuttler and Burghart Klaussner. In German with English subtitles. 114 minutes.
