Singer, dancer and instrumentalist Richard Stillman will present his one man show, “A World Mosaic of Music and Dance” on Sunday, April 7, at 2:00 PM in the Donald B. Palmer Museum of the Springfield Free Public Library.
During this eclectic musical adventure, the audience will experience the native dances and instruments of cultures from four continents, including Europe (Italy, Spain, Ireland, Scotland); Asia (China, Russia, Bali); North America (Mexico, Puerto Rico); and Africa. Richard Stillman’s incredibly diverse performance resume ranges from an appearance in the opening episode of the PBS show, “Shining Time Station” and serving as an opening act for Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog, to performances of “Lady be Good” at both the Kennedy Center and Goodspeed Opera House, to his role as the Clerk of Oxford in the production of “Canterbury Tales” on Broadway.
This program is free and open to all members of the general public. More information about Richard Stillman can be found here.
