Joel Farkas Presents: "Painting" The American Revolution

Historian Joel Farkas will lead you on a tour of the paintings, poems, sculptures, and music that defined the American Revolution. Learn more about the impact these and other works had in rousing patriotism and shaping public opinion during the war.
Mr. Farkas has lectured extensively on the American Revolution, including insights on George Washington, the Founding Fathers, and the war in New Jersey. He is a Lecturer at the Lifelong Learning Institute at Fairleigh Dickinson University and a volunteer docent at Washington’s headquarters in Morristown, NJ.
This program is free and open to all members of the general public and registration is not required. The Springfield Free Public Library is located at 66 Mountain Avenue.
